01 /THE BRIEF

She brought the idea. We helped make it a working marketplace.

Ya’Mar began with a founder’s ambition to make buying and selling feel more approachable. She wanted a place where people could discover products, open their own shops and connect with buyers, with bidding alongside everyday shopping. MUBBITS helped turn that idea into a complete ecommerce product: a mobile marketplace and the administration tools needed to run it.

Building a marketplace means thinking about several people at once. A buyer wants to find the right item and understand how to purchase it. A seller needs to publish listings, manage a storefront and follow orders and earnings. The founder needs visibility into users, shops, products and the issues that require attention. Those journeys have to meet around the same products and transactions.

We shaped the mobile experience around discovery, shops, bidding and account management, and built the web admin panel alongside it. The product brings direct purchases and auctions into the same marketplace, with connected seller tools and room for physical products, digital goods and wholesale activity. The idea became an app with public listings on both the App Store and Google Play.

Product discovery brings everyday purchases and bidding into one marketplace.

01 / DISCOVERY & BIDDING

Make the first visit feel like shopping.

The Discover screen gives a shopper an immediate way into the marketplace. Search sits above a grid of products, with images, prices and seller information close to each other. Favorites and trending items provide another route into the catalog. The screen helps someone explore without first needing to choose a particular shop.

Different ways to buy need to be visible before a shopper opens a listing. The supplied screen marks a product as a rapid bid while other products show their purchase prices. That distinction carries through the product journey: a direct purchase and an auction have different next steps, even when both start in the same product feed.

Bidding also has a dedicated place in the bottom navigation. The app supports auction discovery, timed bidding and posted-bid management, with upcoming, active and completed states. Bringing that experience into the marketplace gives the founder’s idea a broader shape than a catalog and checkout alone.

02 / SELLER STOREFRONTS

Give every seller a place of their own.

A marketplace is also a collection of individual businesses. Ya’Mar’s Shops screen gives each seller a recognizable presence through a cover image, profile image, shop name and a clear route into their storefront. Buyers can discover an item through the product feed or begin with a seller they want to explore.

For the seller, that storefront connects to the work of maintaining listings and inventory. Product information, available stock and shop identity belong together, so the public-facing experience reflects the business behind it. Seller tools support listing management, order activity and product performance within the wider app.

The purple navigation and consistent card patterns tie storefront discovery to the rest of the experience. A buyer can move between products, shops and bidding while keeping the same navigation structure. A seller gets a branded presence inside a shared marketplace without needing to build a separate ecommerce app.

03 / THE SELLER’S WORKING DAY

Connect the sale to what happens next.

The account experience brings the commercial side of the app into focus. The supplied screen groups an account balance with sales, earnings, orders, bundle requests and posted bids. Those routes give a seller practical ways to return to their activity after a listing has gone live.

Bundle requests are part of that ongoing relationship between buyers and sellers. The account navigation gives them a place beside orders, while posted bids give auction listings their own management route. Vacation mode lets sellers signal a change in availability. Each feature supports a different part of operating a shop.

The wider product includes buyer and seller messaging, inventory and order tracking, digital products and wholesale tools. We treated these as connected journeys around an account, a shop and a transaction. That structure turns the marketplace from a collection of shopping screens into a product sellers can work with day to day. Personal account details have been masked in this supplied capture.

04 / MARKETPLACE OPERATIONS

Give the founder the tools to run what she imagined.

A marketplace needs an operating side as well as a shopping side. We built a dedicated web admin panel so the team can manage the platform through a working interface. The supplied dashboard groups pending action items and reports with an overview of users, shops, shop owners and products.

The navigation carries the dashboard into management, catalogs, reports and audits, payments and fees, shipping and communications. These areas connect the founder’s oversight to the routine work behind commerce: maintaining the catalog, following transaction issues, coordinating fulfillment and handling reported activity.

The charts and overview cards help the team review activity, while pending reports give attention a practical starting point. Operators can move from that overview into the management areas for the relevant users, shops or products. The mobile marketplace and the tools behind it form one working platform.

03 /DESIGN MEETS ENGINEERING

The thinking beneath the interface.

01

One product, several working perspectives

The mobile application uses React Native; the web administration interface uses React. Firebase supports shared account and application data, and the mobile project includes Stripe payment integration. Buyer, seller and operator interfaces need to refer to the same shops, listings and orders while presenting the tasks relevant to each person. We built the app and admin experience as connected parts of that product.

02

A bid has its own lifecycle

Auction behavior needs more than a bid button. The app distinguishes upcoming auctions from active bidding and expired or sold listings, with timing and posted-bid views that make those states understandable. A shopper needs to know when participation is possible; a seller needs to follow what they have posted. Keeping those states explicit supports a coherent journey from discovery to auction activity and its outcome.

03

Commerce continues after checkout

Orders, seller earnings, inventory, bundle requests, shipping and communication all extend the purchase journey. Digital products and wholesale activity add their own requirements to the same marketplace. The account tools and administration panel give these workflows a home, so operating the product is part of the build from the start.

04 /THE OUTCOME

Her idea became an app buyers and sellers can use.

Ya’Mar has a public website and mobile listings on the App Store and Google Play. MUBBITS helped turn the founder’s concept into a marketplace with product discovery, individual shops, bidding and seller account tools, supported by a web administration workspace.

The result connects the customer experience to the business behind it. Shoppers can explore products and sellers, sellers have tools for managing their activity, and operators have a dashboard for the platform. Physical goods, digital products and wholesale workflows sit within that broader commerce experience.

For a founder starting with a marketplace idea, the useful first step is to define both sides of every interaction: what the buyer can do, what the seller must manage and what the team needs to oversee. Ya’Mar shows how those decisions can become one working product across mobile and web.
