Where this service fits
You have a product direction and people leading delivery, but the backlog needs more capacity. Staff augmentation brings an agreed role into your existing process. Your team sets priorities; we agree the skills, responsibilities and practical conditions needed for the work to move.
The starting point is a role brief rather than a list of technologies. Explain the decisions the person will make, the code or designs they will work with and how you review an increment. We confirm fit and availability before agreeing an engagement or start date.
What the work can include
- Role definition, relevant stack and agreed delivery responsibilities
- Repository, design and environment onboarding with scoped access
- Participation in your backlog, reviews and communication rhythm
- Progress visibility, documentation and an agreed handover process
Keep the delivery model explicit.
Staff augmentation works best when someone on your side owns the backlog and accepts work. We agree how tasks become ready, who answers product questions and which checks a change must pass. Time-zone overlap and meeting expectations are discussed before onboarding.
Possible roles include web or mobile development, product design and QA, subject to the brief and available capacity. A request for one specialist is different from asking MUBBITS to lead a complete product team; choose the model around the responsibility you need to share.
Make onboarding and continuity part of the scope.
Access, local setup, architecture context and a useful first task all affect the beginning of an engagement. We plan these with your lead so the work can be reviewed early. Code review and documentation should remain part of everyday delivery.
We agree the engagement period, capacity, review points and what happens when requirements change. Any transition or replacement arrangement belongs in the proposal. Your team should retain the context and assets needed to maintain the work after the engagement.
Planning the engagement
Share the stack, role level, current team, expected capacity, time-zone overlap and likely engagement length. Identify who leads delivery and reviews work. Availability, commercial terms and any trial phase are agreed against the actual brief.

Frequently asked questions
Who manages an augmented team member?
Your delivery lead normally sets priorities and accepts work. We agree communication, supervision and review responsibilities before starting. If you need a team to coordinate delivery as well, a dedicated-team engagement may fit better.
Can we add one developer or designer?
A single-role engagement can be discussed. The role, capacity and availability need to fit the actual brief; a public service page is not a promise that a particular specialist is immediately available.
How is staff augmentation priced?
The estimate depends on the role, capacity, duration and responsibilities. We agree the commercial model and any minimum commitment before onboarding. Project delivery and staff augmentation carry different assumptions.
